Every week I get a box of veggies from Farm Fresh To You; each time they include a recipe that incoperates items that were sent, and this week I figuerd “Why not, might as well try something new. I read over the recipe, and it looked solid but I made some adjustments. The results were veddy nice!

Just added this to my wiki, but I figured I’d post it here too!

    • 2 Leeks, chopped and washed
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 cup dry white wine
    • 3 cups vegetable broth or chicken broth (low sodium)
    • 3 1/2 cups filtered water
    • 1 bunch chard, chopped
    • 1 bunch cilantro leaves separated from stems

    3. Add broth and water and bring to a boil.
    4. Reduce heat to a simmer and add chard. Cook for 15 mins.
    5. Add cilantro and puree mixture with a hand blender. Taste soup and add salt and pepper as needed.
    6. Pour soup into individual bowls and swirl in crème fresh. Add rice to center and serve.
